Sedona: A Wonderland of Red
This was our first trip to Sedona, Arizona. We had seen photos and heard it was a beautiful place, but the Red Rocks area was more breathtaking than we imagined. Returning to Grand Canyon National Park and Wupatki National Monument
We left Death Valley and continued our drive south towards the Grand Canyon. We didn't arrive until about 10:30 p.m. at our dispersed campsite just a couple of miles outside of the park. It was a new moon, so it was as dark as it can be and about 20 degrees! Within a mile of leaving the main road, we found a perfect level site among some ponderosa pine trees. Exploring the Wonders of Death Valley
The first main stop on our 2026 winter RV trip was Death Valley National Park! It's been on our list of places to visit for a while and we finally made it.
